英语句子中出现不止一个主语的时候，通常会使用并列连词或词组。如果句子中出现下列并列连词词组时，谓语动词必须采用“就近原则”: either…or…(或者…或者…)，neither…nor…(既不…也不…), not only…but also…(不但…而且…)。

如果句子中出现下列介词词组连接两个主语时，要采用“就远原则”: together with, as well as, except for等。
